Have more questions?

What if I need to remove it?

I recommended finding the spot that was welded and using sharp scissors, or nail clippers. Keep your chain in a safe spot to have it rewelded. In these cases you would be required to remove for surgery or an MRI. You can safely travel with your jewelry through airports.

If you have  pacemaker, I will not be able to weld the jewelry, a clasp will be required

If you still feel the commitment for permanent is too much, we have clasps available. There is an extra charge for these unless under the age of ten.

How do I clean it?

This is easy! You will be given a mild soap and brush to clean your jewelry. Remember to do this after sports or at the beach. There is never too much cleaning. Once a week at least! You will use the brush, or your hands, to get the soap all sudsy. Make sure to move the jewelry in different motions ( squishing together) to get in all the spots. Rinse, polish and you're done!

Will it hurt?

No, not in the least. You will feel a small burst of air and then the welder will spark. There are safety features that will not allow the stylus ( pen) to rapid fire, or go "off" when touched with your hands. I use safety precautions of a leather patch to protect your skin and shaded  safety glasses suited for welding. I use a mirco welder suited for permanent jewelry.

How long will it last?

How long your jewelry will last will depend on how it is cared for. Permanent jewelry is welded to stay on. However, dainty chains are used for safety reasons. This is to protect you if the chain ever gets caught on something. This is important! it is not indestructible for good safety reasons. Washing and polishing your jewelry will keep it at its best. I recommend doing this after sports, beach days and at least once a week. If it ever comes off, keep in a safe place. We can reweld it back for you, as long as the chain integrity has not been compromised.

Who can participate?

Permanent jewelry is an experience to be shared and can create really special memories. However, we have a few policies for children. Anyone under the age of 16 will need an adult present for consent. Clasps are required for anyone under the age of ten. No services for children three years and younger.

I would recommend not having a bracelet on the same wrist as your watch. The bracelet can slip under and feel uncomfortable at times. In the beginning you will notice your jewelry more as it is new, this is totally normal. When deciding the measurement for bracelet or anklet, you want it tight enough that it does not catch on things, but also loose enough it doesn't feel stuck. The ankle, has a lot of frequent movements and can take longer to find that perfect fit. This is also normal. This is to be fun, so don't worry if you are not sure, I will help along the way. If you have anymore questions feel free to reach out.
